Deansfam Bangkok trip – Part 1

Last March we visited Bangkok, Thailand. Its one of those time that we wanted a new scenery, and The Land Of Smiles was our first few pick. (Besides, got the ticket for free from Air Asia purchased march 2009!). We went with the Darmono family.

We stayed at Sawasdee Smile Inn. The hotel itself is nothing to be shout about, but if you are curious, you can read my review of it at Trip Advisor. Now the street in front of our hotel is something else. At night, its filled with foreign tourist. Almost like Legian, Bali.

In our itenary was to visit the famous Grand Palace. We also opted to move around the city Bangkok style, which is the River Taxi. This is indeed an experience, the River taxi will stop at every pier along Chao Praya river and the fee is varied depending on distance, but still very cheap,…. ours cost around 13 Bhat a person.
